This video by Kaja Weeks shows how an adult can use specific notes on a xylophone to easily accompany a child's or their own singing (or how a child can play) so that the result is harmonious.

Musically, I create what's known as a pentatonic scale (or 5-note scale) which results in the "clashing" sounds being taken out.

The process is shown on a standard 8-note xylophone and then on larger bars that consist only of the desired tones.
